Summer Solstice was founded by Odysseas Delaportas and Gary Kouletas in December 2007. They noticed that there was a lot of inferior tanning products and misinformation about the dangers of the sun and decided to developed their own sun care line.

All of Summer Solstice tanning products are coffee based. Coffee has been researched for many years and it has been found that coffee has many benefits when applied to your skin, for example, provides natural sunscreens, anti-aging effects and is a great skin tightener among others.

Our product has no sunscreens other than the natural effects of coffee. Summer Solstice recommends that sun worshippers also apply SPF products made from titanium and zinc which block UVB and also UVA rays which are the culprits of skin cancer and the aging process on your skin.

Summer Solstice also developed a professional line with high SPFs for people who want total block from the sun. We want people to worship the sun but also respect its damaging effects on your skin.
